 A dolphin was stranded and injured in the Dadonghai Sea, Sanya, with multiple wounds on its body and serious injuries...

 Hongsha Police Station of the Sanya, in conjunction with the Sanya Fisheries Administration, Animal Rescue, and other departments, rescued an injured and stranded adult dolphin in the shallow water area of ​​Dadonghai District in Sanya, China."We saw an injured dolphin struggling in shallow water. Come and see..." At about 21 o'clock on August 8, the Hongsha police station received a call from the public that an injured dolphin was found in the shallow water area of ​​the Dadonghai Scenic Area, Sanya. Please send the police for help. After receiving the call, the institute immediately dispatched police to the scene. The police found that the injured dolphin was nearly 2 meters long and stranded in the shallow waters of the Dadonghai Scenic Area. Subsequently, the police contacted the Sanya Fishery Administration and the staff of the Sanya Marine Animal Rescue Station on the one hand and organized police forces to isolate and protect the area near the stranded dolphins.


 After the marine animal rescue station staff arrived at the scene, the police cooperated with the rescue station staff to transfer the injured dolphins from the shallow water area to the shore for inspection. After inspection by on-site staff, it was found that this was an adult female dolphin, belonging to a bottlenose dolphin, about ten years old, about 2.3 meters long, weighing about 250 kilograms, with three wounds on her body, the infected the epidermis and symptoms of dehydration. The injury is severe and requires immediate treatment.

 

  After understanding the situation, the rescue station staff immediately dealt with the dolphin's injury and gave the dolphin a liquid medicine. During this period, everyone turned the dolphins to a position with their backs facing upwards, carefully cleaned up the blockages in the dolphin's intestines, and poured water every 2 minutes to keep the dolphin's body moist and prevent dryness and dehydration of the skin. Under the staff's guidance, the police also bought fresh small fish for the dolphins and fed them by experts. At about 1 a.m. the next morning, with the mutual assistance of multiple departments, the injured dolphin was transferred to a rescue station for professional treatment and further observation.
